Our office is in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We have been promoting agriculture in the Yampa River Valley since 1999 and working to ensure the vitality and continuity of local agriculture. We lead community to grow agriculture and to create alliance among individuals with shared passions and goals. We believe agriculture is critical to the fabric of our community. Mission Statement To preserve the agricultural heritage of the Yampa Valley by initiating, supporting and encouraging actions, programs and policies that mutually benefit and connect agricultural producers and consumers. Lead Community Championing local agriculture – food, fiber, products, and services- is our driving force. We lead community by identifying then acting upon agriculture matters vital to the region. Our successes include connections for local food producers with restaurants and direct to customer retail sales via the CAA Market, online year-round local food market. Grow Agriculture Cultivating awareness about agriculture in the Yampa Valley engages people in protecting ranch and farmland for the next generation. Through vital educational presentations, ranch tours, and water programs and forums, CAA grows understanding and commitment to local agriculture. Create Alliance Connecting local residents and visitors to agriculture strengthens our impact. As a resource to the community, we create alliance with people and organizations to generate multi-generational participation in the heritage, growth, and the future of the Yampa Valley.
